and I am a native Atlantan
Fitness has always been a passion of mine with my first sport being gymnastics. I was on a competitive team for 13 years. My gymnastics career included 13 state individual championship titles, as well as regional and national placements in levels 8-10. I competed at level 10 for 3 years before leaving the sport after a hip avulsion fracture and 4 ankle surgeries. From there I found Competitive All-Star Cheerleading (tumbling in shoes didn’t hurt!).
I currently compete at the national level in both Olympic Weightlifting and Powerlifting. It all started back in 2013 when I was doing CrossFit. After multiple injuries, including an ankle surgery, I managed to begin Weightlifting full time in early 2014. I competed at USAW Nationals my first year lifting.
Through a lot of ups and downs and trial and error in finding myself I realized that my ultimate passion is tied to the barbell. I want to share this passion with anyone who wants to listen. I started my nutrition company because I want to help other people achieve their goals.
I have lifted with a bow in my hair since the first day I tried to pick up a deadlift at Golds Gym. The bow is a part of me & a symbol that women should take pride in their strength and remain fearless of what society says. I love tattoos, music, photography & sports. I hope you enjoy following my journey!
